Learning and Development Co-ordinator

What three words would you use to describe yourself?

Intuitive. Resilient. Grounded.

How would you describe your day job to a child?

I make sure that the food people eat is safe, the places we work in are safe, and that everything runs the right way so nothing goes wrong.

Why did you choose to be part of the Vector Logistics’ team?

I was drawn to the scale and complexity of the business, and the opportunity to make a real impact. Vector plays a critical role in the food supply chain, and I wanted to be part of something that truly matters.

What excites you about this role?

Solving real problems, improving systems, and working with people across different sites to create consistency and high standards. I enjoy bringing structure to complexity.

How would you describe a high-performance organisation?

A high-performance organisation is one where people are accountable, systems are clear, and there is a strong culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and trust.

How do you keep yourself/your team motivated?

I focus on clarity, support, and recognition. People perform best when they understand the ‘why’, feel supported, and know their work is valued.

Do you have a mentor/coach?

I draw from both my work environment and personal life. I place a strong emphasis on continuous self-reflection and growth, as different experiences offer different perspectives, and together they shape better decision-making.

Given a chance, who would you like to be for a day?

I would choose to be someone who has built something meaningful from the ground up - someone who has turned vision into impact. I’m inspired by people who create with purpose.

If you were the CEO for a day, what would you change or introduce?

I would focus on strengthening alignment across all levels, ensuring strategy, operations, and people are fully connected. Often, small gaps in alignment create the biggest inefficiencies.

On a lighter note…

What is your most memorable facepalm (embarrassing) moment?

Calling someone by the wrong name in a meeting and only realising it halfway through the meeting.

When was the last time you laughed so hard?

Recently, during a completely unplanned conversation with colleagues where everything just spiralled into laughter - it’s usually the simplest moments.

What is your guilty pleasure?

Getting completely lost in creating something beautiful

What is one thing people do not know about you?

I’m actually very creative and enjoy making things, from art to detailed designs which is quite different from my structured corporate role.

If you could invite one famous person (dead or alive) to dinner, who would it be and why?

Steve Jobs. I’d be curious to understand how he combined intuition, design, and business to create something so impactful.
